 Wall water feature

Wall water feature, using a lions mask if the wall fountain you are installing is not a lions mask, you still install your wall fountain the same way

First a whole is dug and a tank installed to act as the reservoir

Then a breeze block wall was built, rendered then painted.

(this one is 2 bricks wide.)

The area around the tank is also filled in.

Next the liner and hose for the water spout was fitted. The liner is used to catch any excess splash and take it back to the reservoir

Then the "water spout" (lions head in our case) and wire mesh were fitted, along with the pump. (As we used such a big tank copper pipe was laid across it to give support, we used copper as it won't rust)

The pipe from the pump comes in through the bottom of the wall and back out higher up. Do not put any joints in the pipe as this will reduce the flow, the pipe in the picture is longer than need be to make the pipe clearer to see

If you do not have access to the other side of the wall you can run your pipe up the front of the wall.

We can no longer supply the lion (Please do not ask about it) or any other "water spout" but you could use an ordinary tap.
