Installation

Q1) Do you install the fountains?

As all of our fountains are designed so that they can easily be installed. We do not install any fountains. Each fountain  comes with a manual / instructions. You should how ever  get an electrician to install the supply for you (unless it is a small "plug and spray"  fountain, in which case you only need to plug it in.)

Q 2) I could never install a musical fountain

Although a musical fountain looks complicated to install look at it this way, its just a lot of single pumps / lights in one pool. First you install one then the next and so. When you have installed all the pumps and lights the installation is finished.

Design

D 1) Can i design my own fountain?

Yes you can design your own fountain or water feature.

D 2) Can you design a fountain for me?

Sadly due to ill health, our designer is no longer with us, we are unable to design your fountain, but we can assist you with any design you may have.

Fountain Hire

H 1) Do you hire fountains for special occasions?

Sorry, but we do not hire any fountains. But there is nothing to stop you from becoming a fountain hire company. If we supply the parts we will advertise you free of charge.

Supply

S 1) Can you supply me with a large boulder / structure for the centre piece of my fountain.

There are so many variations  / colours of materials  that we do not supply these. we suggest you try a quarry or local artist or stone mason to custom make these for you.

S 2) What do you supply?

We supply the one thing you can not buy, knowledge and experience, we have the know how of how to make a fountain come to life, we can supply you with all the components to make your fountain work such as pumps, nozzles, lighting and controls to make it work as it should.

S 3) Can you supply me a nozzle like.......................

If you are looking for more or replacement nozzles that we did not supply, we will try and assist you, please visit our components website

Fountain components

C 1) Can i use them for any thing else?

We have had an enquiry for using our lights on a small scale submarine, we had to decline to supply them because as a submarine can go down several metres the pressure would be too much for the lights and they would undoubtedly leak.

Did you know a  "proper" swimming pool lights actually sit in a "socket" with a lead for the light, this means you can remove the light while its under water, bring it to the surface to change the lamp.

C2 ) Can you supply a fibre glass (GRP) pool?

No, sorry, we can no longer supply these.

C 3) Can i see your fountains working, is there somewhere i can go and see one "in action?"

Like yourself, we supply fountains, to private individuals / companies, so we rely on pictures being sent in from previous projects.

Our workshop (which is not at our office) usually have a  fountain that is being worked on or being tested, but our insurance means you can not come to see what we do. and most of our fountains are better seen in the dark, however we do have some clips of fountains for you to see right now, some pages have a link to their respective video clip

C 4) My fountain is quite often full of general dust and dirt and does not look nice, can you help?

C 5) Can you supply a nozzle for my pump, i did not get the pump from you.

We can supply you a nozzle for your pump, so long as your pump has  either a half inch or 1 inch thread, most pumps do. HOWEVER, we do not guarantee it will work, since we match our nozzles to the pump required for the jet height required. Also, filtration pumps come with a thread to connect a hose, (for a waterfall, or your filter) but they do not have enough pressure to operate a fountain nozzle.

C 7) I did not get my fountain from you,  can you supply lights for mine?

We can supply lights for almost any fountain, all our light are a safe 12v  see our components website

Budget

B 1 ) I would like a really spectacular fountain like  P1 on your reference  picture page, i have a 10k budget can you help?

We can help you, but we do not compromise on quality, but for something like that sorry £10k is not enough. You must remember you can not make Niagara falls with a water pistol, although some people seem to think you can.

Please contact us with your ideas and your fountain budget and we will be happy to help you.

B 2) Why do i have to tell you my budget?

Often people will ask for something because it looks nice, but the indicated budget is not enough, so to avoid disappointment  we try to suggest an alternative that is within the indicated budget.

B 3)  Why do you not advertise your prices?

If we were to advertise prices, the product chosen would be the cheapest, but it may not work as you envisage, then you would think bad of us.

General information

Catalogues

G 1) Can i have a catalogue 

We have lots of catalogues for you to have in seconds on our catalogues page we do not have a price list as all our fountains are custom made for you, after all that is why we are Exclusive Fountains 

Price List

G 2 ) Can i have a price list of all of the things you supply?

A fountain should be made according to what you want the end result to look like, not by price of product alone, remember you can not make "Niagara falls" with a water pistol. Although people do try.

We also ensure that the initial enquiry has is the right product(s) for the desired objective

If we give you a price for one particular range  you will opt for the cheapest, but this means that you will not get your desired result / effect, please tell us what it is you are trying to achieve and we will advise you on the correct product.

A typical example are the komet nozzles, the biggest ones have a very high water demand  so you need a very powerful pump to operate them, as they look best in multiples you would be better using several small komet nozzles.

Another example is the lunaqua 10 range of lights, we get enquires for the lights, but they do not ask for example the correct  cable to go with them. Previously  we have  been asked for 5 lights and one transformer, (you can only have 4 lights per transformer maximum) so instead of just supplying parts, we ask the intended application to find is the product enquired about the correct product for the task, we could not do this if we advertised prices.

Contacting us

G 3) I have filled in your request form and had no reply why?

We always respond to all enquiries within 24 hours, quite often the email address supplied has errors, so although we send a reply we sometimes get our email sent back because of a simple mistake in the address. 

if you do not get a reply within 24 hours please fill in the form and send your enquiry to us again

G 4) Why can i not find your phone number I want to talk to some one

We used to advertise our phone number, but we had so many people asking for catalogues and price lists that it was all we seemed to do most of the day. 

How do you describe a fountain on the phone? with email, pictures and videos you can see what you want.

If there is a need for us to talk to you we will call you. 99% of our fountains that we supply we have never spoken to the owner, or even seen the finished fountain

We used to publish David's phone number (he is our systems engineer) but guess what he got calls for?  yes, PRICES / COSTS

G 5) Where are you based?

We are based in Luton Bedfordshire, England (U.K) We have no other branches or distributors.

G 5 A) Can i come and visit?

There is nothing to see as we only publish our office address, the fountains are at our workshop which our insurance does not cover visitors

G 6) How can I pay?

Currently we only accept cheques / bank transfer we also find that if you pay by credit card you will be expecting your fountain next day, as already mentioned all fountains are custom made so it may  a week or two before you get your fountain working

G 7) Do you give free advice?

We will tell you if what you want to do is feasible or not, we also have several pages regarding which fountain you may want to help you decide

G 8) How long will it be before i receive my order?

As there is such a wide variety of products available, and some programmes (for our access software and our EF series of controllers) have to specially written these can take anything up to 4 weeks before shipping. most small items it is usually a week to ten days before shipping

G 9) F A Q, what does it mean?

G 10) Do you visit site?

We do not visit site unless it is an exceptional circumstance. We have also been asked to visit site to supply a lake fountain, there was no point as there was only a single phase supply available, we can only supply one type of single phase lake fountain. With our website you can see what you will be getting, we can not carry everything we supply in  a car. We would require a removals lorry.

G 11 ) Why must i fill in a form to contact you, can i email you directly?

The form is there so we can ask you questions like where are you in the world, (this helps with shipping costs) What is your budget?. It is also a reminder to you to tell us what it is you require, eg lunaqua 10 lights, its pointless just asking for 8 lights and 20 spare lamps. We do not know what watt of lamps, what length of cable is required, how many transformers required, also if you read the form help page this tells you how to fill in the form and why we need the information
